FAIRVIEW Incident Hemet Day Two

Riverside County Cal Fire along with Riverside County Sheriffs responded to several calls of a vegetation fire located at Fairview Ave. X Bautista Rd. in the county area of Hemet. 20 acres of light to medium vegetation burning at a rapid rate. The latest update is the fire is 7,091 acres and 5% contained. The evacuation order and warning remain in place. Two People where not able to get out and lost there life in this fire along one adult female was taken for third degree burns also there is a total of eight homes that have been destroyed in the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
