Python Lee Jackson was an Australian rock band that moved to the UK in the late sixties. This single, a flop originally released in t969, features a lead vocal from Rod Stewart (who was paid in car seat covers - fact!) before he was successful; once he became a big star in 1972., the song was re-released and reached No.3 on the UK chart BTW, it was produced by BBC Radio One DJ, John Peel.
