S. Korea, China narrowed differences on N. Korea nuke issue: S. Korean envoy 6

South Korea′s chief nuclear envoy says Seoul and Beijing are close to reaching a consensus on North Korea′s nuclear program. Wrapping up his two-day trip to Beijing Thursday, Hwang Joon-kook told reporters that he had productive discussions with his Chinese counterpart Wu Dawei on ways to restart the stalled six-party nuclear disarmament talks. Without going into detail,... Hwang explained that the two sides agreed to work together to prevent North Korea from engaging in "bad behavior," including provocations such as a nuclear test. The multilateral dialogue aims to disarm Pyongyang of its nuclear weapons. It involves the two Koreas, the U.S., China, Japan and Russia but has been stalled for over six years.
