It never ceases to amaze me how the so called expert researchers are totally incompetent in the very topics they preach onto others. It’s the dumbing down of society for fame and profit. Don’t trust what I say. Get some rope and test it for yourself. Lebanese red cedar and hemp rope are incredibly strong. Whether the trilithons of Baalbek or obelisks of Egypt’s these ancient materials are more than strong enough to support the weights. Romans moved these obelisks a hell a lot further, and across much more difficult terrain, than the Egyptians. The Romans also told us how they did it, why are the ancient Egyptians treated as knuckle dragging incompetents who couldn’t master the very same techniques and materials used by the later Romans? Add these materials to the lost ancient high technology of knot tying and the ‘impossible mystery’ is easily solved.
