Avtar Singh Khanda, Pro-Khalistani leader and Amritpal Singh’s handler, dies at age 35

Leading Khalistani exponent Avtar Singh Khanda, who was also thought to be the mastermind of the vandalisation of the Indian High Commission in London, died at a hospital in Birmingham. Khanda also allegedly groomed Waris Punjab De leader Amritpal Singh to lead efforts to revive the pro-Khalistani militancy in Punjab. While some pro-Khalistani leaders blamed Indian agencies for Khan’s death at a young age, the Indian security establishment is confident that Khanda has fallen victim to the duplicity of the ISI. #unitedkingdom #amritpalsingh #latestnews    • BREAKING NEWS   Subscribe to The Times of India's YouTube channel: http://goo.gl/WgIatu For daily news & updates and exclusive stories, follow the Times of India Facebook:   / timesofindia   Instagram:   / timesofindia   Download the app: http://toi.in/3SLUCa80 Follow TOI+ for well-researched and in-depth news and analysis Facebook:   / timesofindiaplus   Twitter:   / toiplus   Instagram:   / toi_plus
