You can think of it as Mortal Kombat meets Medieval Times. But death is much faster in Hellish Quart. I was playing using an Xbox 360 controller and I was surprised by how easy the controls were to pick up and run with. Blocking is automatic so long as you are not in the process of another physical movement. This mechanic encourages you to strike only when your opponent gives you an opening.
