CleanCut Overview

Bathing safety presents a variety of hazards that increase the risk of falls and impacts an individual’s ability to live independently. The cost to remove an existing bathtub is often expensive and time consuming. CleanCut’s innovative line of aging in place bathtub conversion inserts offer a simple and cost-effective home modification solution that provides easier access to the bath/shower area. CleanCut products modify the existing tub and are installed by removing a small section of the sidewall of the tub and installing a CleanCut insert, requiring only a fraction of the time and cost compared to a full bathtub replacement. CleanCut products can be installed in fiberglass, acrylic, steel, and cast-iron bathtubs. Product options include the CleanCut Step, Ultra-Low and Convertible. The CleanCut Step is a product and installation method designed to modify an existing bathtub into a more accessible step-in shower. Installation includes cutting and removing a section of the existing sidewall of the tub and custom fitting the resulting opening with the CleanCut Step. Once installed, the Step allows the user to access the tub area more safely and enjoy a more accessible shower. The CleanCut Ultra-Low is installed similarly as the Step but is designed for high-profile (or “tall”) bathtubs. The CleanCut Convertible is also designed to convert the existing tub into a step-in shower, but with the added benefit of being able to still utilize the tub for a full bath. The Convertible has an optional center insert that can be removed to create an easy step-in shower or added and securely fastened to allow the user to fill the tub and take a full bath.
