Fireworks Drought Safety 2022

Extremely dry conditions require extra precautions for fireworks this 4th of July ST. GEORGE, Utah - ( 07/01/2022) – Fireworks are a huge part of celebrations for Independence Day. However due to extreme drought conditions reported statewide in Utah, fire officials are warning of the consequences of shooting them off. Many cities have even prohibited fireworks due to the extreme dangers this year. While St. George is not one of them, fire officials are asking celebrators to follow the law and take extra precautions.
