February 22nd, 2013 Google today celebrates Edward Gorey's 88th birthday. Edward St. John Gorey was an American writer and artist noted for his illustrated books.He was best known for his macabre drawings and picture-stories. In 1977 he won a Tony Award for his set and costume designs for the Broadway production of Dracula.
