During their journey they encounter Marlowe and Talbot who lead a large army against Drake and the gang in a fight to find the Atlantis Of The Sands. In this chapter, Drake, Sully and Elena are still in Yemen and have gone underground and must complete a couple of puzzles to open another doorway. Beyond this doorway lays the answer Drake has been searching for, the location of Iram of the Pillars/Atlantis of the Sands. On their exit, Elena tries to convince Drake and Sully to abandon the quest as they always go awry and tries to enlist Sully's help to convince Drake. Upon leaving they run in to an ambush before making it back above ground and Drake eventually gets drugged and runs in to the clutches of Talbot, Marlowe and new character Rameses.
