Your 6 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Dec. 30, 2022: After a record-setting Friday in terms of high temps, we'll remain mild overnight as rain begins to move in from the west. Temps will fall back to near 50 overnight with upper 40s expected west. Rain moves through tonight into the beginning of our Saturday. By afternoon, the cold front should be through the area bringing an end to the rain from west to east, but cooler temps will also be working in at the same time. We'll start in the 50s before temps head back into the 40s for much of our day. We should end up in the upper 30s for our NYE festivities as we ring in 2023. Next week features another stronger storm system that will bring a surge of spring to the area Tuesday with a chance of rain and perhaps a few rumbles! Colder air gradually moves in thereafter, but nothing barbaric by any means with 30s expected to end next week with some scattered snow chances.
