Oh man, where to start. Vinegar Syndromes new remastering of Amityville: The Evil Escapes is just one of the "so bad it's good" movies, we had to do a movie review. -By Sara Estridge and Jeff Sanders Amityville: The Evil Escapes is a film about old people, who live in an old person home, who like old things from yard sales. Unfortunately, this bargain comes with a serious case of buyers remorse, on account of the demon attached (transmigrated, if you will) to it. Yes, we have, to my knowledge, the first, and only film about a haunted lamp. Best not to pick up things from the front yard of that house that had all those murders in it. That said, this film is crazy fun. You will laugh. You probably won't scream. And frankly, that's okay. Entertainment is entertainment, and this film certainly is that.
