Makkah Royal Clock Tower complex, also known as the Abraj Al-Bait Towers, located near Masjid al Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is a mixed residential and hotel complex. Construction started in 2004 and finished in 2012. The Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel is a 120-storey structure. It is described as both the tallest hotel and the tallest clock tower in the world. The clock, measuring 43m × 43m on each above the hotel tower, stands out as the largest clock face in the world. The clock faces are illuminated by around two million LED lights.
