9/9/09... Seriously, I have no idea why in the hell this have anything to do with Cirno except that the day is full of 9s, nor why some people are celebrating it like its a holiday. Then again, I'm about to beat up two more Cirno characters on this very day, so I have little room to say anything now, don't I? Reiko and Hiryu did their part in fighting Cirno earlier. Now, the "Darkness Illusion" girls are about to finish the job. Thus, both versions of Morrigan that I have are going to face the remaining Cirno's just for completion's sake. Match #1: Morrigan (POTS) vs. AT Cirno (kokekoko) Well, what can I say about this pile? Tons of invincibility frames, several unblockable moves, a few overpowered moves, very little cooldown in attacks which can cause bad juggling situations, a jacked up "combo breaker" that can break out of nearly any combo or to stop the start of one; it's just a whole lot of stuff that makes it not very good. However, this thing is as what a "9" is... it can be quite stupid as it can run in to the same attack repeatedly. Other than that, striking AT Cirno from behind after dodging a super is a decent bet, although, be too slow, and the invincibility frames kick in and you miss your chance. Stage: Snow Zone BGM: Snowflakes (Original Version) by Musharraf (Mega Man 2GB Remix) ========================= Match #2: Morrigan (Thomas Hsieh) vs. Cirno (nenmin) If I remember, before this creation, there was no Touhou-accurate versions of Cirno at that time simply because she didn't exist in the Touhou "fighting" games. However, that didn't stop Nenmin from making a Touhou-accurate Cirno now, did it? This Cirno is what you would expect from a Touhou character meaning an ass-load of projectiles coming from every which direction. Now add the fact that she can use her spellcards to fully heal her energy (starting from the second round on) in which different projectile patterns form, have FIVE (maybe six if she use one in the first) of them, and have invinicibility frames when performing certain projectile moves amongst other things, and you would see yet again why most Touhou characters (if not all) are not very popular in MUGEN. This was a straightforward endurance match as dealing with nenmin's Cirno wasn't all that simple thanks to those spell cards. The first round was simple as she didn't use them at all, or only use one, but not at full potential. Each card supposedly becomes tougher as the fight drags on until you reach the final "bullet hell" mode where objects come from everywhere in a last-ditch attempt to defeat you, and at the same time, she loses her health before she keels over and faints. Fortunately, though it still causes chip damage, you won't die from it. This means I can stay in a permanent blocking mode and still win... what kind of jacked up crap is that? I should also mention that if you manage to score a KO before Cirno releases her final spell card, you win the round and don't have to even go through with it AT ALL! It was long and crazy, but the job got done. Stage: Rainbow Swirl BGM: Hallucid (Tetrisphere) ========================= Vucious' Random Rant: I have nothing. This was kind of ridiculous. I'll leave it at that.
