How to Spot a Fake Scotty Cameron Putter

In this brief tutorial we break down the steps in spotting counterfeit Scotty Cameron Putters. IMPORTANT: The MAGNET test is not fool proof and will not work with aluminum based models, but I called Scotty Cameron Factory and they confirmed that even though newer Scotty putters are made from stainless steel they still carry a light mixture of carbon that will weakly attract a magnet as demonstrated in the video… having said that counterfeit models can still attract a magnet so the only way to fully know is to send it in to Scotty Cameron and have them inspect it.
