Christmas Carol--As With Gladness Men of Old (by Lisa Prokopowitz)

Welcome to Day 20 of the Shining River 2025 Advent Calendar. Here is a Public Domain Christmas Carol called "As With Gladness Men of Old". I (Lisa Prokopowitz) have rewritten the lyrics to a couple of the verses, since the original lyrics have the wise men going to see Jesus in the manger, which mixes two of the Advent stories. The wise men most likely didn't arrive to give their gifts to Jesus until a couple of years later. Regardless, the song is beautiful and I pray it blesses your heart, encouraging us to bring our gifts before Him as He leads us on in this life.
