EU criticizes migrant worker rights in Qatar: MEPs concerned over World Cup slave labour

In the same week that Amnesty International published a report highlighting human rights abuses in Qatar, the European Parliament voiced its own concerns about poor working conditions for migrants in the country. It also had a special mention for FIFA, urging the world's football governing body to do more to combat the problem ahead of the games.
