Spend Time in Prayer, Even When It’s Hard When you feel distant from God, prayer might feel empty or mechanical, but this is precisely the time to persevere. Padre Pio once said, “Prayer is the best weapon we have; it is the key to God’s heart.” Even if it’s hard to find the words, sit in His presence.
