Pan-African Parliament | Proceedings to resume in October, AU suspends Mali's membership

The African Union has suspended Mali's membership in response to last week's military coup and threatened sanctions if a civilian-led government is not restored in the country. Meanwhile, the Pan-African Parliament is set to resume in October following delays of the election of new leadership for a third day in Midrand, Johannesburg.
