Nehawu worried about the rise of COVID-19 infections among healthcare workers

The National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union (NEHAWU) say coronavirus infections among front-line healthcare workers, is spiralling out of control. According to Nehawu, over 3 500 healthcare workers have been infected with COVID-19. 34 healthcare workers have succumbed to the virus since the outbreak. The union has categorically stated that the government does not have proper protocol and safety measures in place to protect healthcare workers and that 'is tantamount to murder'.
