Pontiff Sulyvahn (No HUD SL1 NG+7 w/ Parries No Hit) | Dark Souls 3
Last run I didn't allow myself to do parries because it was a no hit run and it was all serious-like. This time I said fuck it I want to parry this guy. Turns out I've gotten a lot better at parrying since I last tried it on him in my very first SL1. It's great how many attacks you can parry. You can see me wiff a few parries. These were from me trying to parry that stab follow-up. You CAN parry it and it's hilarious when it does, but most of the time it just goes over your head. Surprisingly, it's more consistent to parry the backward swipe, which I did 3 times here. I made a save file backup, so I think I'll also fight him without parries at some point. May do that next or go for another boss.
