A walk from hidden Dean Village along the Water of Leith walkway to Edinburgh's port city of Leith, is only about 6 miles long but what an interesting walk! You'll also want to take extra time exploring Dean Village and the trendy Stockbridge area en route. But make sure you leave plenty of time to discover the interesting historical buildings in Leith as well. Leith is the old maritime centre of Edinburgh and steeped in shipping history.
