Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine releases statement on deadly mass shooting in Dayton

Aug. 4, 2019: Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said he and his wife are 'absolutely heartbroken' about the deadly Dayton shooting that claimed nine lives and hurt at least 16 others early Sunday morning. DeWine’s office released the following statement shortly before 7 a.m. His reference to 16 victims injured came before law enforcement authorities updated that number to 26.
