Mt. LeConte Clifftops from August 2021 hike

This excerpt from our August 2021 19+ mile hike to Mt. LeConte shows our visit to Cliff Tops. It began to downpour for hours soon after leaving Clifftops. The scenery beyond our high perch is hidden behind thick opaque clouds. It rains often on the mountain, which has its own rainforest, so this is a common view. It may not be the Mountain view we anticipated, but it has its own gorgeous mystique.
