Ali-Baba Bound is a classic Looney Tunes cartoon from 1940, directed by Bob Clampett and featuring Porky Pig in the lead role. Released on February 10, 1940, the short parodies the popular song "I'm Alabama Bound" with a twist on the name, and follows Porky as he faces the mad dog of the desert, Ali-Baba, in a battle to save a desert fort. Set in the sweltering heat of the Sahara Desert, Porky is a member of the French Foreign Legion. After receiving a message from a spy named Tattle Tale Gray that Ali-Baba and his Dirty Sleeves are planning an attack on a fort, Porky is tasked with getting there before the bombing begins. He rents a camel named Baby Dumpling from U-Drive Rent-a-Camel and races off towards the fort. Upon reaching the fort, Porky discovers that all the Legionnaires have left for a convention in Boston, leaving him alone with Baby Dumpling. Ali-Baba then attacks the fort, leading to a series of gags and funny moments, including a defeated desert warrior marching about with a sign saying, "This fort unfair to Arabs." When Ali-Baba enters the fort and menaces Baby Dumpling, the camel blows a nearby bugle and calls for help. At the rental store, Mother Camel hears Baby Dumpling's call and rushes to the rescue. She grabs a full tank of water from the nearby filling station and races to the fortress, knocking Ali-Baba over the fortress wall and saving Porky and Baby Dumpling. The short ends with a suicide warrior running toward the fort with a bomb tied to his head. Porky sees him coming and throws open the fort's front door, redirecting him to the oasis, where he runs into Ali-Baba, turning him and his Dirty Sleeves into tents that are easily sellable. The cartoon ends with Porky saying his famous line, "That's all folks!"
