Hariyali Chicken Tikka is a mouth-watering appetizer recipe which is quite popular in Northern India and is best enjoyed with some exotic dips. This Hariyali Tikka recipe is prepared with juicy chicken breasts marinated in the blended mixture of mint leaves, coriander leaves and flavorsome spices. You can serve Haryali chicken tikka with a dip like mayo garlic sauce or creamy garlic yogurt sauce. Ingredients: 3 chicken breasts ½ cup coriander ¼ cup mint 2 green chilies 1 tbsp garlic ginger paste 1 tbsp lime juice 2 tbsp plain yogurt 3 tbsp milk powder ½ tsp brown sugar ¼ tsp cumin powder 1 tsp salt oil as required Other: 4 bamboo skewers 1 piece charcoal Instructions: Cut the chicken breast into small cubes. Create a paste using coriander, mint, green chilies, garlic/ginger paste, lime juice and plain yogurt. Marinate the chicken with the paste along with milk powder, brown sugar, cumin powder and salt. Keep the marinated chicken aside for minimum 30 minutes. Mix oil to the marinated chicken and put the pieces onto bamboo skewers. Grill on a pan for 8-10 minutes on low heat while occasionally rotating. In between brush the balance marinate on the chicken. Add the grilled tikka in a large bowl. Heat a piece of charcoal and place in a small bowl, add a few drops of oil and leave it for 2 minutes with the lid on. Serve hot along with some tangy chutney and sliced onions. Share and enjoy!
