November 22 1993 Note: this video only includes 2 of his 7 made free throws. John Starks scores 31 points in the first half, draining all 7 of his 3-pointers before halftime-a Knicks first half record that Statmuse has listed wrongly on their site- against the Miami Heat in a blowout victory for the New York Knicks. Starks's halftime would begin about 20 seconds early, when Brian Shaw (you'll have to ask him if it was accidental or not) elbows him straight in the nose on a fastbreak move. Kind of ironic that Shaw, who held the record of most 3's in an NBA game at the time, a record Starks was roaring towards with 7 threes in the first half, is the person's elbow that Starks busts his nose on. Nonetheless, he would come back with a typical 90's facemask (should I say horrendous) and finish the game with 37 points and 5 assists, without playing the 4th quarter. Thought this video was relevant due to Julius Randle almost approaching Starks's Knick record of threes in a quarter. Footage via @jakejp74
