Germany is under scrutiny for purported inconsistencies between its verbal commitments and actions regarding military aid to Ukraine. While Berlin promised almost $3 billion in military aid to Ukraine in May 2023, including tanks and ammunition, recent reports suggest that only a fraction of this aid has been delivered. For instance, just 10 of the 110 promised Leopard 1 tanks have reached Kyiv. While Germany has made some deliveries, like food rations and some military equipment, there have been notable absences in aid, especially concerning long-range Taurus missiles which Ukraine is keen on acquiring. Critics, including opposition politicians, claim Germany isn't fully recognising its responsibilities towards European security. #germany #ukraine #aid #weapons #worldnews 0:00 - INTRODUCTION 0:27 - GERMANY FAILING TO DELIVER PROMISED WEAPONS TO UKRAINE? 2:40 - GERMANY TO SPEND $5.95 BILLION ON NATO PROJECT 4:33 - LONG-RANGE MISSILES FOR UKRAINE “NOT A TOP PRIORITY” n18oc_world n18oc_crux CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
