David Runciman was the special guest at the 2020 ERS Conference and AGM - we asked him 'how do we fix British democracy'. Professor David Runciman is Professor of Politics in the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of the British Academy. He studied at Trinity College. He was a member of the Independent Commission of Referendums 2017-18. Since 2015, he has hosted the podcast Talking Politics with Professor Helen Thompson. The podcast convenes a panel of academics from the University of Cambridge and elsewhere to speak about current affairs and politics.
