मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी का चंपावत विधानसभा क्षेत्र से उपचुनाव लड़ना तय माना जा रहा है। चंपावत विधायक कैलाश गहतोड़ी मुख्यमंत्री के लिए अपनी सीट खाली करने की पहले ही घोषणा कर चुके हैं। एक-दो दिन में वह विधानसभा सदस्यता से इस्तीफा दे सकते हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने भी दो दिन में उपचुनाव को लेकर तस्वीर साफ हो जाने के संकेत दिए हैं। Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is believed to be contesting the by-election from Champawat assembly constituency. Champawat MLA Kailash Gahatodi has already announced to vacate his seat for Chief Minister. He can resign from the assembly membership in a day or two. The Chief Minister has also indicated that the picture regarding the by-election will be clear in two days.
