PS5 Pro VS 9070 XT - PSSR VS FSR 4 in Marvel's Spider-Man 2

I want to go into a much deeper dive than this for a future video eventually, but I don't have an HDMI 2.1 capture card. The PS5 Pro's built-in recorder just has too much compression, even in 4k mode. It's not very good for comparisons like this since it compresses out so much of the detail and you miss stuff like graininess, some instability, some aliasing, etc. Once I have a good HDMI 2.1b capture card, I'll be able to do a proper comparison across multiple games to show a good idea how similar and how different PSSR and FSR 4 are from one another, at least at the time of this upload. This might also give somewhat of an idea of what the updated version of PSSR coming next year that is built from FSR 4's neural network and training data will look like. In this comparison, the PC version is using FSR 4 in its performance mode (1080p input upscaled to 4k) while the PS5 Pro version is in Fidelity Pro mode, meaning the input resolution scales between 1440p all the way to native 4k depending on GPU load, with PSSR upscaling the image to 4k when the input resolution is sub-native. Despite the significantly lower input resolution, FSR 4 is a lot more stable while resolving more detail. Add me on: Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/id/IndyTheG...
