All the 3 tools are useful for modifying the shape or objects in illustrator. Scale Tool is used to resize the objects in Uniform and Non-Uniform way. It also has an option for Scale Corners and Scale Strokes & Effects. Shear Tool is used to skew, tilt or shear the objects. Reshape Tool is used to modify the edges or paths of an object. We can add the points with Reshape Tool and can be modified with Direct Selection Tool also. Tools are best explained in the video.
