Invictus Games Racing - Jaguar reveal - Autosport Launch

We were privileged to watch the exciting launch of the unique ‘Invictus Games ‘Racing’ team at Autosport 2018! The select team of wounded, injured and sick (WIS) veterans of the British Armed Forces will be competing in the upcoming British GT Championships, starting on 31st March at the Oulton Park circuit. The drivers, Ben Norfolk, Basil Rawlinson, Paul Vice and Steve McCulley will be mentored & partnered by professional drivers Jason Wolfe and Matthew George. Invictus Games Racing is a collaboration between James holder, co-founder of the clothing brand ‘Superdry’ and the Invictus Games Foundation. A British GT enthusiast and competitor himself, was inspired by the 2016 Invictus Games in Orlando and how the power of sport can aid recovery and support rehabilitation. The team will race in two specially developed Jaguar F-Type GT4’s, the first to be developed in-house for more than 50 years! Bott have provided a professional line-up of specially commissioned workshop equipment to David Appleby Engineering, who will be supporting them throughout the race season. We’re proud to be involved in supporting the Invictus Games Racing team with this powerful initiative in inspiring others to embrace the ethos of the Invictus Games of Triumph over adversity! Best of luck to all the team!
