But life has something quite different in store for them. Rishi, who has "dosh" in his birth chart, can only get rid of it if he marries a woman with opposing planets in her chart. Tanu and Rishi meet when Tanu saves him from a near-fatal accident, and Rishi eventually falls in love with her. Upon discovering that Rishi has a problem with his "kundli" (spirit), Tanu decides to sacrifice herself for him and marries him. Shortly after their wedding, Tanu dies in a horrific car accident. And she does—but in the most unexpected way… for she is reborn… and enters his life 20 years later—in the most unexpected turn of events and in the form he least expects.
