The game features Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams as the cover athlete, whose pose is inspired by Michael Jordan, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Key features include the new Persona Engine for Franchise mode, which gives players distinct personalities and motivations, and significant gameplay updates such as WR/DB jostling, short-yardage mechanics (including the "Tush Push"), and defensive coverage improvements. A closed beta is expected to run from June 11–14, and the game will launch with a starting price of $69.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
