Steven Mnuchin and Liu He lead China-US trade negotiations in Beijing

Trade talks between China and the United States kicked off in Beijing on Thursday, and are set to continue into Friday. US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is leading a seven-member delegation, while Vice Premier Liu He is heading the Chinese team. The negotiations will focus on various trade issues straining ties between the world's two largest economies.
