Rotalign Touch Live Trend and VibXpert II

Misalignment was diagnosed as the source of elevated vibration levels of a critical plant machine. We took a baseline vibration measurement at each bearing, then performed an 18 hour Live Trend thermal growth study to determine the exact alignment targets. After correcting a significant soft foot, the alignment was set to compensate for thermal growth from cold to hot so the machines operate in perfect alignment.
