Cheap Chinese Wooden Hand Block Plane - One of my best tools - Woodworking Tool

↓↓↓ Details and Link below ↓↓↓ Subscribe ↓↓↓ Like ↓↓↓ Share ↓↓↓ I bought this cheap Block Plane from China around one year ago to try out for a bit of fun and also with the intention of using it as a template for one I would like to make if it worked. After a small amount of adjustment and tuning, I have been really surprised by this little Plane. It has become one of my favourite and best tools. It is light and handy. I don't know what species of wood the body is made from, but it is hard and the iron has held up really well needing only a light strop now and again. I thought I would make this video in case anybody was interested. I also don't understand if the style is a Chinese Hand Plane or Japanese Hand Plane, but it works really well on the pull stroke as well as pushing. Update: July 2020 - I still use this little Hand Plane almost daily and it still performs extremely well. It has become a real treasure in my workshop.
