UKRAINE WAR: Many casualties - Sneaky Russian missile attack on party district in Kramatorsk

Following a Russian missile attack on a cafe in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, the death toll has risen to at least eight. Among the victims pulled from the rubble of a hit cafe were three children, authorities announced Wednesday morning. Two of the children were born in 2008, one in 2011. The number of injured was given as 56. Initial reports the previous evening stated that at least three people were dead and more than 40 were injured. According to authorities, emergency services continued to clear debris to search for possible victims. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the new attack on the city of Kramatorsk as another war crime in his evening video address on Tuesday. "Such terror proves to us and the whole world again and again that Russia deserves only one thing for all its actions: defeat and a trial." Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko had previously announced that the Russian army had shelled Kramatorsk twice on Tuesday evening, hitting a restaurant, among other things. Russia has been waging a war of aggression against Ukraine for more than 16 months. Contrary to official claims from Moscow, rockets, cruise missiles, and drones are repeatedly fired at Ukrainian residential areas. This often results in the deaths and injuries of civilians. #ukraine #war #weltnetzreporter Subscribe to the WELT Netzreporter Channel    / dienetzreporter   WELT News Channel    / weltvideotv   WELT DOKU Channel    / weltdoku   WELT Podcast Channel    / weltpodcast   The WELT News Livestream http://bit.ly/2fwuMPg The top news on WELT.de http://bit.ly/2rQQD9Q The media library on WELT.de http://bit.ly/2Iydxv8 WELT News Channel on Instagram https://bit.ly/IGWELTTV WELT on Instagram http://bit.ly/2X1M7Hk On a personal note: Due to the high volume of irrelevant and offensive posts, we are currently unable to accept any more comments.
