A wonderful variation of setu bandha sarvangasana to bring breath to the upper chambers of the lungs, which can often be difficult to access. The narrow and high pile of blankets under the spine create maximum lift so the front body can open. The blankets in this position resemble the setu bandha bench - a thin and hard surface running along the length of the spine which stimulates the nerves along the spine. If the blanket pile is too high and there's tension in the lower back, either lower the pile by removing a blanket or add some height under your heels. Enjoy and please reach out with any questions.
