Officer was a rookie, and did EVERYTHING WRONG. Not holding it against him, but he was trying to ruin my client's future (his promotion to E5 was now withheld as a result of this charge). We tried to settle the case pre-trial, but the prosecution would not have any of it. So, we went to trial and the jury believed my client (who took the stand and testified) and his DD from earlier in the day (DD drove my client home, where he slept off the alcohol and then drove to girlfriend's house -- when he got pulled over for speeding). Jury acquitted him of the DUI. The jury deliberated for JUST OVER FIVE (5) MINUTES BEFORE ACQUITTING MY CLIENT (the prosecution's closing is cut out, it took about 10-12 minutes).
