Care Before Correction: A Gentle Natural Manicure. Watch Me Work
In this video, I’m doing a gentle manicure on a new client who had gel on her nails for many years. The goal today is not a dramatic one-appointment transformation, but a calm reset: shortening the nails, lightly smoothing rough areas, cleaning the nail plate, and applying a very natural polish finish. I’m using Manucurist Active Smooth in the shade Smooth for a soft, clean, natural look. This manicure is also a good example of something I talk about often: care before correction. A manicure can improve the shape and appearance of the nails, but the real change happens between appointments with gentle hand washing, consistent skin care, and less picking, cutting, and over-filing. If your skin around the nails feels dry, tight, or “too much,” it may not need more removal. It may need more care, more flexibility, and more time.
