My Thoughts On The Song/Chart: Fun Fact, this comes from one of the least documented Karaoke Revolution Games (outside the Japanese exclusive ones which are probably a copyright nightmare), being the Country based one from 2006 for PS2. The game was apparently sponsored by CMT or Country Music Television and even featured the branding in the games title. This game was also based on the Karaoke Revolution Party engine which came out a year prior. Country Music is very popular in the states yes, but i really wonder who was really asking for all the Country based spin offs of popular rhythm games that we got, as not even Rock Band was safe from this as it got TWO spin off track packs and had tons of DLC for the audience. Clearly there was some sort of audience for said products, and admittingly not all Country music is bad despite the reputation it gets, but in regards to uploads from this specific game, don't expect them as frequently as the other games in the series, i will eventually try to get to them all but i'm very unfamiliar with country as a genre aside from some of the more famous artists/hits. Here's one however that is pretty iconic even to non listeners, being Willie Nelson's biggest hit to date. Song Facts: "On the Road Again" is a song written and made famous by American country music singer Willie Nelson. The song, about life on tour, came about when the executive producer of the film Honeysuckle Rose approached Nelson about writing the song for the film's soundtrack. "On the Road Again" became Nelson's 9th Country & Western No. 1 hit overall (6th as a solo recording act) in November 1980, and became one of Nelson's most recognizable tunes. In addition, the song reached No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 7 on the Adult Contemporary chart. It was his biggest pop hit to that time and won him a Grammy Award for Best Country Song a year later. In 2011, "On the Road Again" was inducted to the Grammy Hall of Fame. A live version of the song is featured in 2008 video game Guitar Hero World Tour, while the studio version was released for Rock Band via the Rock Band Country Track Pack. The song has also featured in several other films and TV series including South Park, Shrek, Shameless, Family Guy, Forrest Gump, The Big Green, The Littlest Hobo, Monk, Open Season 3, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, Dumb and Dumber To and Nomadland.
