Today I will be using my 2023 Big Ten Football record predictions to make picks on the Big Ten's 2023 win totals. Only one team's record matchup up perfectly with their win total (which would result in a push), so thankfully I didn't have to make too many decisions. That does not mean the picks were easy, however. Northwestern, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Penn State are teams that I have questions about, and making picks on them and predicting their records was a challenge. I have Northwestern going 2-10, Illinois at 6-6, Wisconsin at 10-2, and Penn State going 10-2 as well. For the first three teams, I would see their number of wins increase or decrease by as much as three or four, and with Penn State, their win total of 9.5 means that with one more loss, my pick is as good as dead. It was effortless to pick Indiana to have less than 4 wins, as their roster has too much movement and too little talent to succeed in the Big Ten East. On the flip side, I am extremely high on the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines. I think both have a better shot of going 12-0 than 10-2, with an 11-1 or 12-0 record falling on whoever loses or wins The Game on November 25th. This puts anyone who faces these two in the regular season in a tough position, but teams like Penn State, Minnesota, and Maryland can possibly catch these two off guard. I am excited about Big Ten football and to see how my picks for this season pan out! Leave a like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell for more of the best College Football content!
