Having had so much fun playing the 2016 reboot I couldn't wait to immediately jump into Eternal. I played it back to back with the first and while it took me a minute to adjust to the revamped gameplay I strongly feel that Eternal improves on the previous game in every single way. I would even go as far as saying that Doom Eternal is the best FPS game I have played in 20 years barring maybe a couple of the most famous old Call of Duty games or Halo's but apart from that I am saying as far back as Goldeneye - nothing beats Doom. The series includes my full first ever playthrough of the game as well as both DLC expansions - The Ancient Gods Part One and Part Two. Every mission - 100% of all collectibles and every unlockable in the Fortress including the Unmaykr. Hell’s armies have invaded Earth.
