For those who don't know: normally, you get to do 5 missions after Horizon before you're forced to go to the Collector Ship (unless you have less than 8 characters recruited, in which case I believe you get to do as many as you want until you recruit your 8th). However, the game doesn't lock you out of doing more missions until you go back to the Normandy. Certain loyalty missions (Grunt's, Mordin's, and Miranda's being the most applicable here) take you back to the area where you initiated them, allowing you to get a 6th mission before being forced to proceed with the main story. My plan was to do Miranda's loyalty mission and finish up by recruiting Samara. Unfortunately, I just figured out the hard way that doing Miranda's loyalty mission after Jack's results in you being taken back to the ship to settle their dispute, so there went that idea. Looks like I should have done a little more testing before doing this run. =/ I could have done Grunt's and Mordin's missions back-to-back, but I prefer to save Grunt's until after the Collector Ship; the Viper makes that one so much easier. _______________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________ Game: Mass Effect 2 Platform: Xbox 360, PS3, PC Developer: Bioware Publisher: Electronic Arts, Inc.
