(6 Dec 1956) At a Detroit automobile proving ground under the expert eye of some of the country's leading engineers, a group of trucks are tested to measure their ruggedness and durability-Power gaints of amazing versatility they take in stride a stunt heretofore attempted only by daredevills in their specially built cars. How he wandered onto this serious test lot is anybody's guess - But though he gets a close shave for this temerity he escapes injury because these trucks are easily controlled with push button transmission, power brakes and steering.
