Sharing a video of attack on Hindu temples in Bangladesh, Radharamn Das, the Vice President of Kolkata and ISKON spokesperson, on Friday requested PM Modi to save the Bangladeshi Hindus who have been frequently tortured in the Sheikh Haseena ruled country. Recently, numerous temples were vandalized during Durga Puja and Dussehra celebrations. A number of Hindus died and injured following the attack. “Request Hon'ble @PMOIndia Shri @narendramodiji to speak with his Bangladeshi counterpart immediately. There is wide spread violence going against Hindus & today they attacked our @iskcon temple in Noakhali. Many dead & many devotees in critical condition #SaveBangladeshiHindus (sic)”, Mr Das tweeted by sharing the video of a mob attacking an ISKON temple in Noakhali. “ISKCON temple & devotees were violently attacked today by a mob in Noakhali, Bangladesh. Temple suffered significant damage & the condition of a devotee remains critical. We call on the Govt of Bangladesh to ensure the safety of all Hindus & bring the perpetrators to justice. It is with great grief that we share the news of a ISKCON member, Partha Das, who was brutally killed yesterday by a mob of over 200 people. His body was found in a pond next to the temple. We call on the Govt of Bangladesh for immediate action in this regard”, ISKON tweeted by sharing pictures of the attacked temple and its premises.
