In this vlog, I take you on a winter trek from Chopta to Tungnath and Chandrashila Peak, sharing the real December ground reality — weather, snow expectations, trek difficulty, AQI, preparation tips, and mistakes to avoid. We started our day from Chopta early morning, surrounded by silence, peace, and stunning Himalayan views. Due to extreme cold, all water lines were frozen, no running water, no heating, and limited electricity powered by solar panels. Even cameras and GoPro batteries were failing due to low temperatures — most of this vlog was shot on phone. 🥾 Trek Details Covered Chopta to Tungnath Trek (≈2.5 km) Tungnath to Chandrashila Trek (≈1.5 km, steep & narrow) Altitude: ≈3680 meters Entry Fees: ₹200 (Adult), ₹100 (Student) AQI at Tungnath: 38–42 (Delhi NCR ≈500+) ❗ Important Winter Reality (December) Many people expect heavy snowfall in December — but there was NO snow at all during this trek (23rd December). The trek was green, sunny, and warm during the climb, but extremely cold in shade and mornings.
