President Donald Trump escalated his shutdown threat over U.S.-Mexico border wall funding at a heated White House meeting with two top Democratic leaders. Trump said Tuesday during an open press session with Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer that "if we don't have border security, we'll shut down the government." He added that the wall will be built one way or another. Schumer and Pelosi urged the president to find another solution, with Schumer saying "we shouldn't shut down the government over a dispute."
